What is CRM?
Customer Relationship Management is a methodology used to organize and manage a company's interaction with customers and learn more about them. The system is most commonly used to assist in sales, marketing, and customer service.
There are many CRM tools on the market including dedicated CRM systems. What is ERP?
Enterprise Resource Planning is a set of tools integrated in one system built to manage all company resources. The system components vary based on the specific needs of a given enterprise. The ERP system for a construction company will be very different from the ERP system for a retail corporation. However, some components are less industry specific such as the finance or human resource industries. The main benefit of a system covering different aspects of the enterprise is that all the components are naturally interconnected, allowing users access to different modules from the same place while preventing multiple data definitions.
What is VoIP?
(Voice over Internet Protocol) - For most of us, VoIP is another phone technology that is usually cheaper than analog phone systems, but is not as stable as the last one. However, this is no longer the case. 10 years ago it would be a correct statement, but as this young technology grew and overcame its birth problems, it became part of the mainstream phone system. When you made a call using your old telephone, you did not have any idea what form your voice was getting and how it was transmitted to the outside world. Nowadays, all the voice communication providers have adopted new industry standards that include fully implemented VoIP in their systems. When you make a call today, especially if it is a long distance or international one, it's most likely to be transmitted via Voice over IP. Your voice is converted to data packages and sent from point A to point B through the same network you use to surf the Web.
What is PBX ?
Private Branch Exchange – PBX is a phone system mostly used in businesses that allows people inside the company to make calls to each other within the system. PBX is also connected to the external line, allowing calls to go in and out. The PBX isn't a new thing and there are different versions available: Analog, VoIP, and hosted PBX. The main benefit of modern VoIP PBX systems is their scalability and flexibility, allowing businesses to create different or very complex calling rules and scenarios.
What is Google Apps Premier?
Google Apps Premier is one of the SaaS products available on the market today. It is Google's substitute for Microsoft's very well- known Exchange server. More accurately, it is a substitute for Hosted Exchange, as you can't have Google Apps installed locally on our server. You get all the functionality plus other great features such as chat, internal web sites, video storage, and Google Documents as an online collaboration tool.
Google Apps Premier provides each user with a 25G mail box, web access, full MS Outlook, and smart phone integration. The system allows users to delegate access to their mail, share calendars and contacts, set auto-responders, and much more. If you are a Mac user and prefer Entourage for your Email and Calendar, we have a bad news for you. Google doesn't have a sync app for Entourage, so you'll have to live with IMAP or POP for your e-mail. Also, your local calendar and contacts won't be synchronized with Google Apps. As always, there are workarounds, but they are not working flawlessly.
What is SaaS?
Software as a Service (another important variation is SaaSS - software as a secure service) is an approach of substituting a licensing cost with service fees. Instead of buying software, the client opts to a month-to-month service agreement which gives him full access to a product.
The SaaS approach isn't new. This idea started in the mid 1990’s. The word on the street was that instead of buying MS Office for a $400/license, the user would pay a small fee every time he needed to create or edit a Word document. Nowadays we can do word processing for free with Google Docs and Microsoft Azure. However, the thought of accessing important company documents from everywhere brought about a range of very advanced web-based applications. The main benefit is the significant savings in licensing fees and hardware. There are many different financial formulas for SaaS, so you have to determine which one fits the needs of your company. You should also remember that SaaS has its advantages and disadvantages just as licensed software does. There are always ways to eliminate, or at least, significantly reduce the risks associated with SaaS.

What is SEO and SMO?
Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Optimization utilize techniques that optimize a website for the search engines. After you’ve launched a website, you'll need potential customers to find it. The fastest way to find information today is through the search engines, so you want your website at the top of search results.
In order to improve your website’s chances of appearing at the top of the search results, you have to understand how the search engines work and how they decide who should appear first. Each search engine has a unique algorithm that is constantly evolving, so SEO is not a one time operation, but a constant task.
For example, let’s take a look at Google’s algorithm. Based on multiple parameters, Google assigns every page on the web a Page Rank. The higher the Page Rank, the better location the website appears in the search results. In the past, optimization was focused mainly on Meta Tags, but now the search engines are slowly abandoning Meta Tags. Now they have switched to acquiring info about a website directly from the content of the web pages.
Another component that is widely considered to be very important in SEO is the number of links to a website. The source of the link also plays a role. The higher the rank of the link's source, the better. However, it is very important to understand that an outbound link to an external site has to be relevant to its visitors and frequently updated with relevant content. Based on the latest trends in SEO, “Content is King”.
SMO, or Social Media Optimization, is used to attract website visitors from very popular and fast-growing social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Using SMO as part of a business marketing campaign is an easy and no-cost method to connect with customers. Furthermore, adding a business blog to your website is one of the most effective ways to add value and communicate with people.
